Rentals Taylor Bay Beach

" Dear Vicky, Where do I begin? The house was simply perfect. Our flights arrived early. We were met by Todd Foss from Grace Bay Car Rentals. He called Rhonda to tell her we were on the island. Todd was a riot and had our cars ready. I got a kick out of driving on the left side of the road. Rhonda was wonderful, welcoming and had the answers to all our questions. On the first day Steven and Louise, the villa owners, stopped by with their 4 lovely kids and a bottle of champagne. We truly enjoyed meeting this delightful family, especially Robert who returned to entertain us further. The entire week was paradise. We snorkeled, went SCUBA diving, parasailed with Capt. Marvin, saw the pirate carvings with Capt. Bill, rode Camille¹s ponies on Long Beach, and ate conch at the Conch Hut. We had a great meal at the Neptune Villas by Ocean Point and enjoyed shopping at Salt Mills. The IGA had everything we needed to make dinner at the villa and the villa had everything we needed to serve it. We loved sitting on the balcony on the top floor of Vieux Caribe at sunset. We thought the Ogreen flash¹ was an island myth so we were thrilled the night we saw it over Taylor Bay. It was such a pleasure to be able to swim right into the beautiful bay from the Villa¹s stairs on the dock. The kids built an amazing sand castle on the beach there. We put a cooler in one of the 2 kayaks and floated it to the site. Everyone took a turn paddling the kayaks; the view of the fish from the Oclear¹ one was neat. We are Iowans, 1000 miles from the ocean in every direction, so the change caused by the tide in the bay was interesting and dramatic. We tied a Kayak at the dock and it became trapped under the dock at high tide. It Oreturned¹ at low tide. So that¹s why the kayaks were placed on the dock when not in use! We¹ve now stayed at 5 villas in the Caribbean and we all agree that this is the best house. The rooms are huge and well decorated. The gorgeous landscaping provides complete privacy around the pool. The kitchen had 2 refrigerators and plenty of room for multiple cooks and bar tenders. One of us fell asleep on the comfortable couch each evening and had to be led to their even more comfortable beds. Vicky, is there a website where we can post our praise for this house and your service? We would like to use Luxury Retreats again for future vacations. " Hi Wade Our family vacation to the Turks was absolutely awesome! Upon arriving to the villa in the Turks and Caicos, it was like being in paradise...our own piece of heaven. The accomodations were perfect for our large family group with plenty of privacy if one so desired. We felt very blessed to have had such an opportunity to spend a Christmas and New Year with our families. We appreciated all your help from the greeting at the airport to the final day getting ready to leave all went off without a hitch, which was really nice considering the very stressful start to our holiday. Your liason in the Turks - Jennifer - was a lovely woman who was most helpful and responded to any concerns promptly and courteously. We would not hesitate to use your service again when and if we decide to rent a villa property. I am also really glad to see that your company is now displaying the online BBB seal of approval...a real asset to the buying public when making such arrangements over the computer. We are certainly toying with re-renting the Vieux Caribe again at a future time with some other couples...we'll let you know! " Hello Levi - Yes, we are back from the beautiful (warm and sunny) T & C and Villa Caribe. We had a wonderful time. Loved the villa and especially the location! Highlight was really the view from the villa and the ability to swim off the dock and see lots of fish right there. Only "problems" with the villa were that the ice maker definitely was not able to keep up with a group of 14. You might want to think about supplying an ice chest or upgrading the ice maker. Also had a problem with the septic. Apparently the cover had come off slightly so there was definitely a bad odor for a couple of days until the plumber finally came and screwed the top back on. But Jennifer was great. Very attentive and helpful. She arranged for chefs two nights - they were very good. There is an amazing amount of building going on down there. Will be interesting to go back in a few years and see how it is changed. We definitely missed a BAD weather week here in the DC area - snow, ice and temps that never went above 20. Made it all the sweeter to be down in the lovely tropical weather. "

The delightful architectural design with an exterior of hand cut native stone combine to make Vieux Caribe a truly exceptional estate. The high vaulted ceilings with exposed beams benefit from cooling trade wind breezes. Antiques, eclectic and unique furnishings provide both stylish and comfortable accommodation.

Apart from the private pool terrace, a deck area is ideally situated overlooking the ocean and beach - perfect for sunbathing and shade, pre-dinner drinks or to absorb the stunning sunsets.

The villa provides a number of hideaway areas for sunbathing or to enjoy the addictive tranquility and acclaimed vistas. All five master suites have large ensuite shower rooms, separate air conditioning and ceiling fans (air conditioning is charged locally as used). To enhance privacy each room has a television and music centre. Great attention to detail has been paid to enhance your stay - from fresh white cotton linens to beautiful Molton Brown bath products to cool waffle bathrobes.

Two luxurious guest suites are available in addition to the main house to accommodate parties of up to 14 adults - or smaller parties at a supplement. Positioned on a lower level, approached by a private entrance with a gentle ramp access and opening onto the waterside, these beautiful suites are ideal for a little privacy as they offer a private terrace. One suite benefits from discreet enhancements for guests who are less able bodied, such as the large walk in shower accessible to a wheelchair user. A small sitting area with a mini kitchen equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and coffee maker separates the two suites. A large deck area opens out from the suites affording ocean views. Please note that there are 2 steps into and out of the main villa and shallow steps into the pool.

The pool terrace has a plentiful supply of sun loungers and provides al fresco dining with a large gourmet BBQ and wet bar. Steps lead down to the lower deck and dock area. Two private docks provide access to the water and a brief swim to the shores and fine sands of Taylor Bay.
