" Dear Mr. Crombie, Our experience at BOULDER CREST could not have been better. It is MORE beautiful and excellent in design, layout, décor, equipment, maintenance, kitchen gear, electronics, air conditioning, maid service, pool service, views, and landscaping than advertised and even expected. The swimming on the beach below was fine and the beach five minutes to the south was fantastic and the snorkeling superb (“grand trunk beach?”). Problems? The ice maker did not work. I think it needs a new water filter. Discovered one in kitchen cupboard the last day. The telephone system is unsatisfactory. (We finally had the concierge lady Sharon get us a special cell phone for $100 in order to be able to call home.) The neighbors just above us on the hill were pretty noisy, which disturbed the peace some. Those were the ONLY negatives I can think of. Sharon Flax -------- (last name) was of little use. She was polite but we only saw her the day we arrived and she promised to come back the next day but never did and said she could not get the icemaker fixed. She did get the washer fixed when it stopped working. In total it was a great experience and we could not have been more satisfied. "

Just a 10-minute walk to the beach, Boulder Crest is a 2,400 sq.ft., 3 bedroom villa nestled among large boulders. Designed to exist harmoniously with the natural landscape of Virgin Gorda, the villa consists of 5 pavilions connected by open air stairways. Canopies of mature trees around and between the pavilions offer a choice of sun or shade. The expertly landscaped 0.8 acres of grounds include many native species planted among natural stone paths and garden walls. Large sliding glass windows open to lush tropical gardens and 1,600 sq.ft. of terraces surrounding the property. Enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Sir Francis Drake Channel, the adjacent islands, and the miles of pristine Virgin Gorda beaches stretching from Little Dix Bay to Mountain Point. Both the inside and outside are comfortably furnished to reflect the island's laid-back lifestyle.

The main pavilion features a cathedral ceiling and large sliding glass doors. It holds a modern, well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar seating 6 and an indoor dining area also seating 6. The main pavilion also holds an expansive and comfortable living area with an entertainment system. Sink into comfortable furnishings after an active day in the sun and enjoy the panoramic views.

Ideal for entertaining, sunning and relaxing, the furnished terrace that wraps around the main pavilion holds a private dipping pool.

From the dining pavilion, an outdoor staircase leads to the private master bedroom pavilion located among the boulders, 15ft. above the main pavilion. The master bedroom pavilion is built around a large existing boulder and features a large natural stone headboard. The two guest room pavilions are located a few steps above the main terrace and overlook the dipping pool.

Rental rates are for the exclusive use of the villa, pool, and gardens, regardless of the number of guests.

Additional Information

Boulder Crest Villa is not equipped with lifts and there are many steps and rock formations. For this reason, it is not recommended for guests with mobility issues.

Boulder Crest is located on the western coast of Virgin Gorda at the base of Gorda Peak, approximately 70 feet above sea level and features fabulous scenic views. Its ideal location offers short (10 minute) walks to the beaches at Long Bay or Nail Bay and is approximately 1 kilometer to Mountain Trunk Beach. The location also allows for easy access (15 minute drive) to water sports, restaurants and shopping. The coral reefs surrounding Mountain Trunk Beach and Nail Bay are teeming with sea life and arguably offer some of the finest snorkeling experiences around. The slopes of Gorda Peak provide for interesting nature hikes.
